Julie Simon | Co-Creator

Julie’s work at the intersection of leadership, personal development, community engagement and social change spans over 20 years across the private, public and non-profit sectors. As a coach and facilitator, Julie supports individuals and groups to improve self and situational awareness in times of rapid growth and transition. She brings an equity lens and liberatory approach to her leadership coaching and supports people to live their lives with radical presence. Julie also designs and leads workshops on navigating loss and grief – core components of transformational change for individuals, organizations, and the collective. Prior to coaching, Julie worked for New York City as an urban planner where she designed, led and facilitated long-term community planning and visioning processes; advocated for equitable development; and co-led resiliency efforts. Julie is currently in the Facilitator Preparation Program with The Center for Courage and Renewal which exists to nurture deep integrity and relational trust, building the foundation for a more loving, equitable, and healthy world. Julie holds a BA in Urban Studies from Haverford College and a Master’s in Urban Planning from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
